"Protect her, protect yourself" states this Ferodo advertisement for automobile seat belts, also pointing out that the company has been entrusted to produce these live-saving devices by non other than Air France. Ferodo, founded in 1897, is still very much thriving today. The company is still famous for advertising by having the Ferodo brand name painted on British rail bridges over main roads.
