De dubbele thermische beveiligingsafsluiter wordt als veiligheidsinrichting in verwarmingsinstallaties met vastebrandstof-warmteopwekkers gebruikt. Het apparaat combineert in één blok een thermische beveiligingsafsluiter en een vulventiel, die bij aansturing door een afstandssensor met positieve veiligheid gelijktijdig worden geactiveerd.
Bij het aanspreken van het ventiel reageert de ingebouwde bijvulling op de watercirculatie tijdens de verbranding van de resterende brandstof en beschermt daardoor uw verwarmingsketel en uw verwarmingssysteem.
