Suitable for home automation, energy monitoring, and smart grid applications.
The ZMCT103C AC Current Transformer Module is a compact, high-accuracy sensor designed to measure single-phase AC current up to 5A. It uses the ZMCT103C core, a precision current transformer chip known for high linearity and low phase shift, especially useful in energy metering and AC current monitoring applications.
This module converts the AC current passing through the primary side into a small analog voltage signal proportional to the current. The active output is amplified through onboard components (such as op-amps and resistors), making it suitable for direct interfacing with microcontrollers (Arduino, ESP32, STM32, etc.), analog-to-digital converters (ADCs), or data acquisition systems.
It is widely used in smart energy meters, overload protection, IoT energy monitoring, and current sensing circuits. Its high sensitivity and isolated measurement allow safe and accurate sensing without direct electrical connection to the high-voltage AC line.
