A dice with dynamic, changing dots.  On each side of the 6 sided die are small windows with 16 small troughs with from 1-5 balls depending on the side. When the die is rolled, the balls fall into the holes in different patterns, but with the same number per side. 

Palm sized version of the Wild Maxi Dice. 

Random pattern generation reinforces number concept understanding. 

This is a great way to train subitizing -- the ability to recognize an amount of objects without having to count.  

In addition the Wild Dice are great for any patterning or pentomino games.
