Product Overview

Shore power supplies at marinas and campsites are not always clean or correctly earthed. A direct connection between shore earth and a vessel's hull creates a galvanic cell with neighbouring metalwork in the water, accelerating corrosion of anodes, propellers and through-hull fittings. The Victron Isolation Transformer breaks this path entirely by providing full galvanic isolation between the shore supply and the onboard AC system.

The auto 115/230V function means the transformer detects and converts between the two most common shore power voltages. This is particularly relevant for vessels or vehicles that travel between the UK and Europe and North America, or for installations where the shore supply voltage is not guaranteed.
