The Jaltest Marine (Inboard) software activation (74502004) is a one-time activation that is valid for life. This activation permanently links the selected module to your Jaltest Link V9 interface. After activation, the module remains visible in the software and is non-transferable to another interface. The activation does not provide software usage rights but forms the technical basis to link the module to the interface.

To keep the software operational and actually use it, a software license is required (sold separately). This license provides access to the latest software updates, new functionalities, the most current vehicle coverage, and technical support. Without a valid license, the module remains visible in the software, but the software cannot be used for diagnostic purposes. The software activation takes 24 to 48 hours after ordering and happens automatically.

For the correct activation of the software, it is essential that you provide the serial number of your Jaltest Link V9 interface. This serial number must be mentioned in the comments field of your order.

You can find the serial number of your interface in the following ways:

• Jaltest Link (interface): The serial number can be found on a sticker with "SN:" on the back or underside of the unit.
• Jaltest software: In the software, go to Configuration → Hardware/Link → Information. Here you will find the serial number of the linked interface.
• Packaging box: The serial number is listed on a sticker on the original product packaging of your Jaltest interface.
