The Rab Kinetic Alpine 2.0 Pants are highly breathable, waterproof trousers for active use in the mountains. Rab's Proflex waterproof fabric is uniquely stretchy offering complete freedom of movement. The Kinetic Alpine pants features a tough recycled polyamide face fabric with a more open weave, wicking polyester backer. The Kinetic Alpine pants are designed to be worn all day, so you get a comfortable breathable softshell climbing trouser with the added reasurance that if the weather goes south you don't need to hang around putting on overtrousers.

The Proflex waterproof fabric has stretch PU membrane and taped seams, so is classed as a proper waterproof fabric, but with the stretch and breathability of softshell. The soft Proflex fabric feels comfortable next to the skin, and its breathability of 20,000 MVTR means you do not get a clammy feeling as with other waterproof membranes. Proflex offers the stretch and freedom of movement of a softshell garment but with the reassurance that when the weather inevitably goes south, you aren't going to get soaked.

The Kinetic Alpine Pants feature articulated knees for unrestrained freedom of movement. There's a low profile integrated belt for waist adjustment and concealed rear zipper pocket.
