Description

The Merry Wives of Windsor is one of Shakespeare’s lively comedies, centered on the misadventures of Sir John Falstaff as he attempts to woo two married women—Mistress Ford and Mistress Page—in hopes of gaining access to their husbands’ wealth. Instead, the clever wives join forces to outsmart and embarrass him through a series of humorous tricks.
