Electrically non-conductive, the Electrician Ring is aptly named however not to be pegged purely for electricians. This rings outer sleeve is a 2x2 woven twill glass fiber with an aluminized coating that has been tested to 800 cranking amps. This non-conductive rings liner is made of a glossy black ceramic which by nature is also non-conductive. While we generally do not recommend ceramic rings for lack of strength (they are very brittle), when we sleeve it with Silver Glass aka "Silver Carbon Fiber" it reinforces and provides an incredibly durable ring, factors stronger than a pure ceramic ring. 

This ring is also made slim in profile, allowing you to comfortably wear latex or work gloves if you're an auto mechanic or operating in the ER.
