THS gusset plates are used to reinforce joints between diagonal bracing and vertical columns. These connections are critical for maintaining the stability of post-supported treehouses, and our 1/4" powder-coated steel plates are engineered to for maximum performance with an aesthetically pleasing appearance. "Y" gussets are used to connect a single 45-degree brace to the column; "W" gussets are designed to connect two 45-degree braces. Plates are sold as pairs and include 5/8" galvanized carriage bolts (4 for "Y" gussets and 6 for "W" gussets). Standard plates are sized for 6x6 columns and braces; heavy-duty plates for 8x8 timbers can be obtained upon request.
