Cellini is a dress line that focuses on elegance without Rolex's most distinctive feature, the Oyster case.

The name “Cellini” comes from a 16th century Italian Renaissance sculptor named Benvenuto Cellini.

The fact that the Cellini is the only watch in the Rolex collection to be named after a specific person gives it a unique position.

Although the Cellini is only produced with a gold or platinum case, there are countless variations in case, dial, and hand combinations.

This watch has a rectangular (rectangular) case with rather thick edges. The case has a trapezoidal shape when viewed from the side, giving it a slightly thicker appearance, which is unusual.

The dial is a black tapestry dial. The design with vertical stripes easily produces shadows, and the expression changes depending on the angle, which is a big attraction.

It is a very original design among the many Rolex dials, and there are very few references that use this design.

The movement is the hand-wound Cal.1601, a highly reliable machine that has been used for several decades, including the base model Cal.1600 and the minor-change model Cal.1602.
