The heavy-duty SC70A Series is built for busy commercial and institutional applications that require reliability and easy maintenance. With a variety of mounting options, arm types and installation accessories available, the SC70A Series is suitable for a variety of applications, including interior or exterior doors in schools, retail shops, restaurants, offices and apartment complexes.

The SC70A Series features a single-piece cast aluminum body, a heat-treated forged steel piston and a double heat-treated pinion. Its non-handed design allows the closer to mount on left or right swinging doors. The SC70A Series is UL listed, is a certified ANSI/BHMA A156.4 Grade 1 product and is backed by a 10-year warranty. It also meets the ADA and ANSI A117.1 standards for accessibility.
