Women in very rural communities of Guatemala hand-embroider these playful accent pillows for us in 100% cotton thread.  This vintage colorful design in punch needle technique reminds us the best designs of the Pop Art movement, these BTFO pillow covers are great for a detail decoration, is that accent that will revive the action cartoon movies in that kid´s bedroom, or the family TV room.

The base fabric is upcycled cotton canvas from scraps generated by the enormous jean industry here.  Our friends from The New Denim Project grind the denim scraps back into fiber, spin it, and reweave the threads into fabric using not a drop of water in the process.
