Set of 4 vintage plaques of angels playing instruments, replicas from the interior of Holy Trinity Church in Sloane Square, London. The church was constructed between 1888-1890 by architect John Dando Sedding, a founding member of the Arts & Crafts movement. It boasts a massive stained glass window designed by William Morris & Edward Burne-Jones. These round, plaster plaques, glazed to resemble stone, are modeled after the sculptures by F. W. Pomeroy above the choir stalls. Each one is in good condition & hangs from a niche cut into the back. Sold as a group.
