Gorgeous, early 20th century antique tooled and gilded leather jewelry box with an elegant serpentine shape & an art nouveau style lining inside. The leather has darkened and is rather desiccated from age- I leave it up to the new owner to decide whether or not to condition it. Some leather loss, mainly at the back. Personally, I like that abandoned Paris apartment look! In addition, the hinges are a little rickety, one side having been replaced with a nail.  The box is definitely in good enough shape to use.
