Product Overview

Victron GSM modems rely on a stable cellular connection to transmit data to the VRM portal. In many off-grid and remote installations, the modem is located inside a sealed enclosure or a building with thick masonry walls, both of which attenuate the cellular signal significantly. Routing an external antenna to a position with clear line of sight to a cell tower resolves this problem without relocating the modem itself.

Installation Notes
