PD-1/PD-L1 inhibitor C1, CAS No. 1675201-83-8, is a potent and selective small molecule inhibitor of the PD-1/PD-L1 protein/protein interactions with IC50 < 100 nM (PD-1/PD-L1 Homogenous Time-Resolved Fluorescence (HTRF) binding assay). It may potentially be useful in the treatment of cancer as well as infectious diseases such as hepatitis C. The programmed death-1/programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-1/PD-L1) interaction plays a dominant role in the suppression of T cell responses, especially in a tumor microenvironment, protecting tumor cells from lysis.
