Leuze LS318B/9D-M12 Photoelectric Sensor

The Leuze LS318B/9D-M12 Photoelectric Sensor is a Throughbeam principle sensor designed as a transmitter for precise detection over long distances. It features a red LED light source with a wavelength of 620 nm and operates within a supply voltage range of 10 to 30 V DC, ensuring compatibility with a variety of industrial control systems. This sensor is equipped with polarity reversal protection and is short circuit protected, enhancing its durability in demanding environments.

With an operating range of 0 to 10 m (guaranteed) and a maximum operating range of 0 to 15 m, it is ideal for long-range object detection. The sensor has a readiness delay of 300 ms to ensure reliable operation after power-up. It also features an LED display for visual feedback and includes a deactivation input, offering flexibility in applications requiring remote or automatic deactivation.

The M12 connector with 4 pins allows for easy installation, and its ABS plastic housing ensures robust performance in harsh environments. The Leuze LS318B/9D-M12 Photoelectric Sensor is IP 67 rated for protection against dust and water, making it suitable for use in a wide range of industrial applications.
