Ranger is made in just the coolest piece of hand-dyed mohair. This is our 48mm long 'Eddie' mohair hand-dyed to give a stunning olive green pile on a warm chocolate/tan backing. This was purely a happy accident as far as colouring - we've never dyed a piece quite like it before! We also dyed a few pieces of alpaca at the same time, and a little bit was used for Ranger's cheeks, feet and hand pads. The colouring is identical in tone, but just a shade lighter (the trade mark of alpaca!). The overall effect makes for a very unusual big fluffy bear. 

Ranger looks out through black glass eyes with our handsculpted polymer clay eyelids and whites. The eyelid colouring has been blended to match with the mohair backing colour and his gorgeous big hand-embroidered perle cotton nose as well. He is fully T-pin jointed and stuffed generously with polyfill and glass shot for weight. He has 3D detailed toes and fingers with little tufts of fur between the pads. 

Ranger wears a hand-strung glass, wood and acrylic necklace around his neck (fully removable), designed specifically for him to complement his unusual woodlands colouring. Ranger is a one of a kind artist bear. We dyed 1 extra piece of mohair and alpaca in this colouring that will be available for sale in our store, but other then that this exact colouring is all his!
