A mixed metal Bedouin necklace from Southern Yemen or Saudi Arabia. The top part is decorated with red glass cabochons and is worn tightly around the neck from which dangle long chains end in bell-like dangles. A similar example can be seen in " The Art of Bedouin Jewellery" by Heather Colyer Ross.  A rare find for collectors of Bedouin jewelry.

There are several coral-colored glass beads and lozenges which stand for the stylized hands of Fatima (khamsa). This necklace is made of mixed metals and is complete but is missing its ends. You can easily slip a ribbon into either end and wear it.

• The length of the metal part is 27 cm (10 1/2").
• Depth is 15 cm (6").
• The top tier is 4 cm (1 1/2") wide.
• Weight is 325 g.
