A separator for purifying DNA, RNA, or other biomolecules with magnetic beads. Designed to fit PCR tube stripes and individual PCR tubes.

Depending on what side you insert the tube, the magnets will be positioned either near the bottom of the tube or at the middle of the tube.

Contains the strongest possible neodymium magnets, which effectively pull magnetic beads from the suspension towards the side of the tube, clearing the solution within a minute. Beads accumulate near the wall, somewhat above the bottom of the tube, so you can easily pipette all the liquid out without worrying of accidentally uptaking any beads.

To use, insert your PCR tubes into the rack and wait for about 1-2 minutes until the solution clears.

Works with magnetic beads for DNA purification, as well as with any purification kits, including Dynabeads, Ampure beads, and others.

Great for many applications, for example, purification of a PCR product or selecting DNA strands of a certain size from the DNA library.
