This vintage 1 Guaraní banknote from Paraguay, issued in 1963 by the Central Bank of Paraguay, features detailed historic imagery and classic design elements. Printed by this note is part of the "Value in Spanish on Back" issue under 

• Obverse: Depicts a Paraguayan soldier holding a machete in his right hand and a rifle in his left, standing prominently on the right side. The national coat of arms is placed at the left, with legal tender text in the center. Serial numbers are printed in black (two varieties exist).

• Reverse: Features the Legislative Palace (Palacio Legislativo) at the center, flanked by large number "1" on each side, and surrounded by the text República del Paraguay and Un Guaraní.
