Binding: Attractive and near fine original publisher’s decorated cloth binding with floral patterned boards and illustrated front cover panel (hinges fine, overall slightly scuffed - as shown) under a protective removable mylar cover in its original illustrated box, a highly desirable and increasingly scarce survival. The box is in good overall condition, with corner repairs carried out by a previous owner. While structurally stabilized, the box remains fragile by nature, as expected for an original Volland box of this period, and should be handled with care. A rare find in any condition!
