Commissioned in the 1950s for Dutch travel agencies, the Dutch Railways, and the Stoomvaartmaatschappij Zeeland (Hoek van Holland), the poster promotes travel to London. Van Os ingeniously features the iconic palace guard donning a black bearskin hat, a vibrant symbol of the British capital.
