Liberty of London is a luxury department store founded in 1875 that was known for its Aesthetic movement printed fabrics, revived during the 60s & 70s. They are consistently known for eclectic, cutting edge designs and today are considered a heritage brand. This vintage vest dates to the 80s or 90s and features a white on ivory butterfly design, reminiscent of its Victorian past. The vest looks like silk, but it’s a poly/cotton blend: Meaning it’s washable and easy to keep clean. UK size 16, about a US women’s 12. Shown on an antique mannequin with a 40” bust.
