The expansion vessel mounting bracket is ideal for vertical vessels that are up to and including 24 litres. It offers safe and secure mounting for vessels that fall within these sizes. The expansion vessel is NOT supposed to be left unsupported on the pipework as it may lead to injury and accident. Before this bracket is installed, please make sure that the surface where it will be mounted, or the wall where it is to be added, is structurally suitable and can support the weight of the vessel. When calculating the weight of the vessel, ensure that you add the weight of the water that will be contained inside.

The mounting bracket RS-MB2 comes with one retaining band. It has been designed safely to secure vessels that can contain up to 24 litres of water when full. When you mount the bracket, also ensure that you use suitably sized screws to fix it on the mounting surface or wall. Two screws are recommended but more can be used to ensure the complete safety of the mount. Once the mount has been installed and the securing band has been tightened, it is advised to check that the bracket and vessel are held secure. Do this step before connecting the vessel to the water system.
