A precious treasure that has been beautifully preserved from the mid 1900s. 

A gorgeous medium sized 9ct gold marked front and back heart locket that is a perfect size of 30mm hang x 22mm wide. 

The front and back gold mark means that the panels of the locket are solid 9ct yellow gold yet the hinges and frame of the locket is a gold fill alloy.  This was done to ensure that the locket lasts longer and is more robust (as gold is a softer metal). 

The locket is truly romantic and beautiful with an old gold buttery patina to it and is in exceptional vintage condition.

It has been engraved on the front with a floral forget me not design.
