1947 Gibson J-45 in good condition. This Gibson has a replaced bridge, has an old factory Gibson overspray with heavy finish checking, and had some heavy finish removed from the back of the neck in house. An undersaddle K & K pickup has been installed as well as an endpin jack. This J-45 was constructed with a spruce top, mahogany back and sides, a mahogany neck with a Brazilian rosewood fingerboard, and a Brazilian rosewood bridge. The “C” shaped neck has a width of 1 11/16” at the nut, a depth of 0.91” at the first fret, and a depth of 0.98” at the tenth fret. A fantastic sounding, lively J-45 with a warm, woody tone. The guitar has a 24 3/4” scale and weighs 4.13 lbs. Comes with a non-original hardshell case.
