ABOUT THIS DESIGN
Knit the Cassidy Cowl as James envisioned it when he created this designer knitting pattern. Cassidy is worked in the round using the classic stockinette stitch but worked in the wonderful mosaic technique. You will be creating a two-color design but only working in one color at a time and reducing floats on the wrong side of your work by half. The result is knitting that will provide delight you as the colorwork design appears while you knit each row.

THE YARN
Ecopuno - 75% Cotton, 17% Merino, 11% Alpaca - 235 yards/215 meters - 50 grams - DK weight

This yarn is a very light, remarkable blend of alpaca and soft merino wool wrapped with micro threads of cotton. It has excellent stitch definition with the elasticity and bounce of animal fibers. Yet, it is mostly cotton–almost unbelievable. So, if in the past you have not enjoyed working with cotton, this yarn will surely change your mind.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

Gauge: 25 sts and 33 rows = 4"/10cm in pattern, washed and blocked.

Check your gauge before and after blocking to monitor tension and match dimensions.
