Celery (اجمود) is a cool-season vegetable grown for its crisp stalks, aromatic leaves, and fresh herbal flavour. It grows best in full sunlight to partial shade, fertile well-drained soil, and regular moisture, as dry soil can make the stalks tough. Suitable for garden beds or 10–12-inch pots, celery can be used in soups, salads, juices, stir-fries, stocks, and everyday cooking.
Celery has been used since ancient times around the Mediterranean region, first valued as a medicinal and aromatic plant before becoming a common kitchen vegetable.

Sowing Instructions:
Should I soak celery seeds before planting?
You can soak them for a few hours to speed up slow germination, but it’s not required. Just sow them on the surface and mist regularly.
Can I grow celery in partial sun?
Yes — filtered or light morning sun works well. Full harsh sun can stress young plants.
What’s the biggest mistake beginners make?
Burying seeds too deep or letting soil dry out. Celery needs surface sowing and consistent moisture.
