"In creating "alloy", I sought to honour the past while also looking towards the future, and to celebrate the ways in which materials and cultures can come together to create something that might be beneficial to humanity through it's creation and eventual auction. This empathetic response mirrors the process of alloying two metals to create a new, stronger material. In this way, the teapot becomes a symbol of the power of collaboration and the potential for altruism that emerges when people from different backgrounds come together in an attempt to impact the well-being of others." Frankie Flood
