Vladimir Rachenko from Ukraine started designing and manufacturing fly reels and tools in the early nineties. His mechanical engineering experience, aviation engineering background and talent shines through with his latest titanium reel creations.

The reel features:

• Fully machined from aerospace certified titanium bar stock
• Palmable spool rim design
• Adjustable and fully-sealed disc drag with Avcarb/ Stainless Steel drag washers.
• Two Japanese stainless steel bearings ensures the sensitivity needed for the finest tippets

The reel diameter (frame edge to edge) is 2.89" or 3.46" if measured from pillar to pillar. Spool width is 1.26". It weighs 7.45 oz. Capacity is WF6 + 137 yds.

A fine leather pouch with the VR Design logo is included with the sale.
