Active Shield is a high quality paint sealant that produces a long lasting, high warm gloss on all types of automotive paint finishes. Formulated with mild cleaner to remove light scratches, oxidation and contaminants while glossing agents restore shine and clarity. Two special penetrating, amino-functional polymer resins cure to form a continuous, durable film that will out last any wax product. Active Shield resists UV rays, snow, rain, insects, road film, harsh detergents and environmental contaminants that can fade or discolor automotive finishes prematurely. It reduces friction build up so contaminants will not adhere to the surface. Active Shield can last up to 12 months with proper maintenance.
Application:
Hand Use: Shake well before using. Apply product to a clean microfiber applicator pad and spread evenly over small area of painted surface in a cross hatch motion. Let product cure for 20-25 minutes and wipe off with a clean microfiber towel.
D/A Polisher: Shake well before using. Use a finishing or medium polishing pad . Apply product to pad. Set D/A polisher speed to 3-4. Turn on polisher and buff with adequate pressure, spreading product evenly over surface. As product disappears, reduce pressure and polish to a glossy finish.
Helpful Tips:
For best results apply with a DA polisher and a medium foam polishing pad at speed 4.
If you see any "high spotting" left behind after removal, take a moist micro fiber towel and with firm, slow passes wipe over the shadowing areas and then immediately wipe over the same area with a dry micro fiber towel. Repeat this process until the high spotting is leveled out.
