For sale here is a Marty Karstetter Hollow-Built Bamboo Rod - 8'6 2/2 for a 5wt. Serial no. 19913. The rod is in excellent used condition having been well taken care of. All sections are full length and straight. 

The rod features transparent chestnut silks against moderately tempered cane. Agate stripping guide. The script remains clean and bold. Modified full wells grip 5 7/8" in length, slightly soiled from use but would clean up smartly if desired (no ridging present). Oxidized cap and ring reel seat over a fine mortised walnut spacer. "Marty Karstetter Maker" is stamped on the butt cap with some bluing loss. Swiss-style truncated ferrules with a tight, smoothly seating fit. Weight is a lean 3.65 oz. The rod has a very nice dry-fly action on the faster side of medium-fast. The authoritative butt section provides plenty of backbone while the thin tips allow for finesse, tippet protection, and delicacy. A truly exceptional dry-fly rod.
