Black Ryden Vase “Peony” by Kerry Goodwin approximately 14cm in height and in perfect condition.
Black Ryden Pottery was an associate company of Moorcroft Pottery, launched in 2003 and based in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire. The company produced hand-painted art pottery, including vases and grotesque bird designs, inspired by the Martin Brothers and Art Nouveau styles. Unfortunately, Black Ryden closed down in 2005 due to company reorganization.
Their pottery pieces are now quite rare and collectible, often fetching premium prices on the secondary market.
