The Stabicraft Casting Support is a practical aftermarket accessory designed for Stabicraft 1450 and 1550 open-deck boats, providing a stable point of support for anglers while casting.

Manufactured from high-polish 316 marine-grade stainless steel, it is built for durability, corrosion resistance, and a clean, professional finish in demanding marine environments. With an overall height of 1300mm, an outer diameter of 410mm, and an inner diameter of 333mm, the support is sized for comfortable reach and natural bracing while fishing.

The casting support locates into standard rod holders, allowing it to be easily installed, removed, or repositioned as required. It is not permanently fixed to the vessel.

This casting support is designed as a light support and bracing aid while casting. It is intended to give anglers something to lean lightly against or steady themselves when the vessel is stationary — enhancing balance and control during the cast.

It is not intended to support full body weight or dynamic loads, and should not be used as a substitute for permanently fixed boat hardware.

To keep expectations clear:

• This product is an aftermarket accessory, not manufactured or endorsed by Stabicraft

• Intended for use only when the vessel is stationary or at rest

• Designed to allow light leaning and bracing while casting

• Not designed to support full body weight, sudden movement, or dynamic forces

• The support is located in rod holders only and is not permanently fixed

• Not intended for boarding, towing, lifting, securing loads, or use while underway

• Not designed to function as a permanent grab rail or safety rail

Rod holders & user responsibility

Rod holders are not supplied or installed by us. As rod holder design, installation, and condition vary between boats, it is the user’s responsibility to ensure:

• Rod holders are correctly installed and securely mounted

• They are fit for purpose and suitable for use with a casting support

• The casting support fits correctly and is properly seated before use

Correct fitment and responsible use are essential for safe and enjoyable operation.

Fitment & ordering

This casting support has been designed around typical Stabicraft 1450 and 1550 layouts. Where required, we can work from a custom template to suit your specific setup — just get in touch and we’ll help guide you through the process.

If the product shows as unavailable, orders can still be placed. Each unit is made to order, with an estimated 3–4 week turnaround when on back order.
