De Bakey thumb forceps are atraumatic forceps, which are used primarily for grasping and holding delicate vessels. Thanks to their special teeth (staggered longitudinal ridges with delicate grooves), tissue can be held gently.

Peha® de Bakey thumb forceps from Hartmann are a single-use instrument that is disposed of into a puncture-proof container after use. Since the de Bakey forceps are clearly marked as a single-use instrument, there is no danger of mixing them with traditional, reusable instruments.

About Single-Use Peha®-Instruments

Peha®-instruments from Hartmann are a safe and economical alternative to reusable instruments. These Hartmann single-use instruments are made of matted, brushed steel. The brushed finish prevents reflections; thus, providing increased safety.
