You get a bronze watch for a reason. It's the only kind of watch that gets more beautiful as it ages. In this kit, we also pair it with blue, one of the most classic colors to go with bronze watches. Why blue? Bronze is very connected to our ocean; it's been used for ships and many other marine applications since a very long time ago.

Bronze is one of the best materials for marine applications because of its corrosion-resistant capability. Bronze protects itself from corrosion because of the oxide layer it forms on the surface. This protective oxide layer is the patina that many watch collectors love; depending on where you live and where you wear your watches to, your watch will develop its own unique patina, no two bronze watches are the same.

This bronze watch case is CNC machined from a block of bronze. The material we chose has a bit of aluminum added so we can achieve the best mechanical properties and beautiful patina.

With a Black BGW9 sandwich dial, glow-in-the-dark brushed ceramic bezel insert, Seiko NH 34 movement, and an elastic nylon black strap...  this could be one of the best bronze watches in its class.

A bronze watch with beautiful patina

This bronze case is CNC-ed from a block of aluminum bronze. Our formula included a bit of aluminum as it improves the material's mechanical properties and we believe this results in the best patina over time.

Bronze protects itself from corrosion by developing an oxide layer, which gives you the patina that is desired by many watch collectors. The patina will differ depending on how you wear the watch so each bronze timepiece will age into its own unique look. It's one of the very few kinds of watches that gets more beautiful as time passes by.
