Fabulous vintage Zuni turquoise brooch from Sewell Indian Arts. The brooch is in the shape of a flower and covered with turquoise gemstones set in sterling silver. The Zuni Indians are known to be exceptional Lapidary craftsmen. They are famous for cutting turquoise into needle shaped stones and call it Needlepoint. The turquoise is a beautiful deep blue color and the silver has a dark patina. This brooch is in the original box and was bought by my aunt on a trip to Scottsdale, Arizona. The original price of $15 is on the back. The brooch is in excellent condition, I don't think she ever wore it. It is unmarked, but tests to be sterling silver. Fabulous collectors piece.
