Lapidary cut, multi-layered Motor Agate (Fordite) cabochons set in sterling silver, and 14K. The salvaged and repurposed enamel material set in this pieces began as a hunks of cured auto paint overspray that were harvested from a major auto plant many years ago.

This set displays beautiful, matched vintage collection Type 2 Motor Agate cabochons, with multiple color layers, cut from one piece of fordite.

The cabs are cut low domed, revealing many topographic layers in their profile. The silver settings have full, closed backed bezels, and have been given our signature industrial mini-hammered finish. Solid 14K gold spheres on the lower point of each bezel add finishing detail. An 18" sterling silver round box chain with lobster clasp closure is included.
