Coalbrookdale Style, Cast Iron Coat Stand / Hat Stand

A monumental cast iron hat stand with the makers mark of Coalbrookdale to the underside of the drip tray as well as lozenge marks and pattern numbers to the rear. Even though the piece is cast with these IDs, it is unlikely that this piece is an original Victorian cast iron hat stand and is likely a replica made post 1970. Even though that it is unlikely to be an original, it could still be from the Black Country town of Ironbridge as pieces from the original casts of Coalbrookdale are still being made today.

The piece is in very good condition and does have its original, untouched finish to the iron. There are a couple of rust spot in the drip tray but nothing substantial.
