For sale here is a Gary Howells 8' 2/2 6wt bamboo rod with a labeled weight of 4 1/8 oz. Serial no. 3936. The rod is in excellent+ original condition. All sections are full length and straight. 

Moderately tempered cane with chestnut wraps and gold tipping. Red and gold tipping at the winding check. The script remains as clean and bold as the day it was written. A previous owner has written their name over the varnish as well. This can likely be easily removed. Ring hook keeper. The reverse half-wells grip measures 6 1/2" in length with only light soiling. Bright aluminum up-locking reel seat over a beautifully figured zebrawood spacer. The ferrule fit is perfect. The rod weighs 4.25 oz. Medium-fast action. Original bag and labeled tube.
