The Cinepar 6/12K is the most powerful HMI lighting fixture of its class available. This exceptional yet manageable light is an essential tool for lighting professionals in the motion picture industry as well as in the event and road show entertainment arenas.

Like all LTM Cinepars, it’s beam is contained and directed via a custom-made set of medium, wide, super wide and frosted Fresnel lenses. This fixture emits a beam of almost 2,000 foot-candles @ full spot, from a distance of 100 feet.

The Triple Lock Bulb Support System is an LTM proprietary socket design that holds the 6K and 12K single-ended bulbs securely in place, offering optimal tightening on the bulb pins to ensure perfect electrical contact, precise positioning and support of the bulb in the axis of the reflector to allow reliable use of the fixture in any position and maximum light assembly, total relief of weight and gravity stress on the socket, caused by the weight of the globe, to provide reliability and longevity of the socket/bulb assembly.

LTM’s user-friendly Triple Lock system requires a simple turn of a screwdriver to automatically and simultaneously activate all three of its bulb lock-down safety features.
This fixture is available in different configured kits with electronic or magnetic ballasts.
Large diameter lens sets, scrims and barndoor sets are available to change the quality intensity and shape of the light emitted from the fixture.
