Wolf Tooth now offer axles that are compatible with the Syntace X-12 System. The primary difference between the X-12 axle and their other axles is the X-12 uses a conical washer, where the other axles have a flat washer. The Wolf Tooth Syntace X-12 Rear Axle is more than just a replacement rear axle. They use a captive steel washer under the head which reduces friction on the dropout face. This protects your frame and transfers more of the clamping force which then prevents the axle from sticking.
