Contractor Drill Bits have a 135 degree split point tip for self-centering and reducing thrust. Compared to a conventional 118 degree tip, these drills wont go "walking" on you. They are black and gold surface treated. Reduced Shank Drills expand the size range capacity of a portable drill chuck. 3-Flat shank for an extra secure hold in your chuck.
