Goyard was established in 1853 by François Goyard. The characteristic chevron pattern was cleverly designed to form a 'Y', representing the three centuries of Goyard and their 'Compagnon de Riviere ancestors'. Each pattern is delicately hand-painted onto a lightweight coated canvas.

Condition Notes: Heavy wear throughout handle casing. Darkening and marks to exterior bottom corners. Light creasing and marks throughout exterior leather trim. Visible creasing to handle bases. Light creasing and wear throughout interior.
