Introducing the Aoshima 1/350 Ironclad series S-Boat SP S-100!

The Versailles Treaty may have restricted Germany's Naval power after WW1, but small ships were excluded from the limitations. Enter the shipbuilding company Lurssen, who produced small motorboats with armament that were fast, strong, and seaworthy. The German Navy took notice and in 1929 ordered a similar boat with two torpedo tubes - the S-1. This boat became the foundation for all subsequent S-boats, including the S-7, S-26, S-30, and S-100 classes.

Evolved over time, the S-Boat SP S-100 proved to be substantially superior to the American PT boats and achieved outstanding military results alongside the German U-boats.
