Here we have a 1973 Fender 3 bolt Stratocaster in Very Good condition.

• Construction: 1973 Stratocasters featured a three-bolt neck, though early-year models can be found with the four-bolt attachment. The distinctive "bullet" truss rod was also introduced around this time, with adjustment at the headstock.
• Body: Bodies were typically made of either alder or ash , this one is Alder, and often had a thick, durable polyurethane finish. Some finishes, however, featured a mix of poly and nitrocellulose lacquer, which causes a different aging pattern.
• Neck: The neck is a "C"-shaped profile, with a laminated Indian rosewood fingerboard. The neck also features a walnut "skunk stripe" down the back.
• Headstock: This model is known for its large headstock with a bold Fender decal and two string trees.
• Pickups and electronics: The guitar comes equipped with three gray-bottom single-coil pickups. Early 1970s models featured a three-way pickup selector switch, a master volume knob, and two tone knobs. It was a common modification for players to replace the original three-way switch with a five-way switch. This guitar still retains it's original 3-way switch.
