The Z-Axis Touch Probe is used to accurately zero the Z-axis on your CNC router when starting a new job or after changing a cutting bit. This ensures that the tool begins cutting at the correct depth, improving accuracy and reducing waste.

To use, simply attach the crocodile clip to the cutting tool and place the touch plate on top of your workpiece. When the bit makes contact with the plate, the machine automatically sets the Z height.

Important: Measure the exact thickness of your touch plate using a Vernier caliper and enter this value into your CNC controller for accurate tool height calibration.
