For sale here is a Julius Vom Hofe salmon reel. 4 3/8" diameter and 1 5/8" pillar length, which approximates the spool width at its widest point. The reel weighs 20 1/2 oz. Adjustable drag although all settings seem to be result in similar spring tension, which is fairly light. German silver and hard rubber construction. The spool flanges and reel foot are also nickel silver. The hard rubber is in fine condition with no chips or cracks. The screws also remain in excellent condition. The nickel silver rings are ding-free. The reel foot is also straight and unaltered.
